Like most Americans, we at e-BikeKit.com are concerned about the future of our country, the planet, and our place in it.  Two of the most serious problems that face humanity today are:

• the global depletion of sufficient oil supplies to meet demand -- meaning oil shortages are going to become a permanent condition of our world, -- and, 

• the condition of the environment in which we live -- our air, water, and food.  

Our enormous consumption of fossil fuels (e.g. gasoline, natural gas, diesel fuel) presents numerous problems for our world.  The majority of fossil fuels today are used for transportation, and their use adversely affects our environment.  That's what got us started.  

We wondered how we could make a difference -- make a positive impact on the challenges that average every-day folks are facing -- fuel costs, transportation nightmares, environmental issues, convenience, etc.  We decided to start e-BikeKit.com to do our part to help reduce consumption of oil and gas, in a meaningful way, and provide a convenient, reasonable, and very affordable alternative to fossil-fuel-based transportation.  We provide our customers with a viable means of transportation  which is clean, effective, efficient, pretty darned cool, and completely affordable!  And we offer every kind of accessory you could imagine to accessorize your bike in style.

You might ask if we walk our talk?  The answer is a resounding YES!  The sole proprietor of this company rides his own electric bike (the photo on our home page) almost exclusively for all his personal transportation needs.  That includes going to the office, the grocery store, the post office, the dentist, and virtually most daily errands you can think of.  We believe in what we do, and we hope you'll join us.
