Ed's Adventure to Raise Funds for the MS Society
Ed Nordmeyer is using his e-bike to raise money to help fight Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Ed recently rode his electric bike 500+ miles from the Appalachian Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean and raise money for the MS Society.
Ed is still raising money for the MS Society and E-BikeKit has decided to help him out. To do our part, E-BikeKit is donating a complete E-BikeKit System with SLA battery.
The system is being via an e-Bay auction and 100% of the proceeds go to the MS Society, so bid generously knowing you're supporting a great cause.
The winner of the auction will get to choose the wheel size so they can ensure the kit will match their existing bike, and pick from a front or back wheel kit.

In the few years that we've been in business at E-BikeKit we've noticed a big turn in the philosophy of local bike shops. Many who were reluctant to deal or service e-bikes are now embracing them. After a highly successful "cash for conversions" campaign this past Earth Day we're happy to report that the trend continues to gain momentum. Our mission to make the e-bike a viable source of transportation in the US relies heavily on those "e-bike friendly" shops and we're grateful every time a new shop comes on board.
E-BikeDealers.com is an interactive database for listing & locating “E-Bike Friendly” local bike shops offering or specializing in electric bicycle sales, service, conversion and repair.
Both dealers and buyers are encouraged to submit business information for local bike shops selling, converting and servicing e-bikes in their neighborhood.
We've developed www.e-bikedealers.com as a way to say thanks and to bring e-bike friendly shops together with you our customers. Recently I ordered two hub motor wheels from you. One sized correctly for my bike, and another wheel in a different size, because that size was on sale. I got a rim and some spokes from you so I could build a wheel myself into the rim size I need. I fabricated a wheel truing stand and installed a precision dial indicator onto it to measure lateral and vertical wheel displacements. Before I began building my own wheel, I was curious to see where I stand with the wheel you guys built, so I put your wheel onto the stand and gave it a spin. The wheel was so true, the needle on the dial indicator never strayed outside two of the smallest tic-marks on the finest scale (.001 inch).
Let me repeat that: Your wheel was so well trued, it was beyond the capacity of my measurement instruments to detect any imperfections in its shape.
I just thought you guys should know that.
