I have 2 24 volt lithiums in series. I get 7.4 volts out of the BMS. The input to the bms is ok on all channels. The o/p of each battery is 27.5 volts. Both batteries charge alright. Can I reset the BMS or test it somehow?

Which motor is better for a 27 inch wheel, direct, or geared? I've ridden a large-wheeled electric bike and it did not have much power from a stop. I have a folding bike with small wheels and it has plenty of power.

I have a 48v 20ah liFePO4 battery and I would like to be able to leave it plugged into the controller without it discharging when not in use. I don't like to disconnect the battery often because when I reconnect it, the spark caused by the inrush of voltage to the controller degrades my connectors. I noticed there is a small red wire coming out of the controller that is paired with the larger red wire at the power pole connector. Is that where I could insert an on/off switch? Would that prevent the Capacitor from draining battery power when off?
